Designer

Nexus AEC, LLC is hiring full-time BIM Designer to join our team.

Job Duties:

  • Interpret architectural drawings by reviewing technical reports including context conditions and hardware requirements, draw rough building plans based on preliminary data, such as sketches, calculations, specifications, etc.
  • Create working drawings by revising additional details according to customer markups and specifications using AutoCAD.
  • Provide AEC workflow or design application training, and technical support to TITAN AEC customers.
  • Improve designers’ workflows by identifying, demonstrating and integrating AEC technology ecosystem solutions such as Revit, Navisworks, and BIM360.
  • Modify existing project by establishing a resource library of design standards and specifications and construction procedures.
  • Create architectural evaluations and ensure compliance with design standards and specifications by visiting job sites on behalf of architects as needed.
  • Creating construction documents and proceed with ordering using BIM software.
  • Telecommuting is an option

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Building Science, or related field, must have Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM).
